Your personal Week 1
Start with five words.
Use one in a sentence.
You’ve already studied some Korean. Here’s a small way to practise bringing it to mind—about 10 minutes today.
1. Try the Korean first
Look at these English prompts. Say the Korean aloud before revealing the answers.
family · friend · mother · father · student
Check the Korean
가족 · 친구 · 어머니 · 아버지 · 학생
A blank is useful information. Check that word, then try it again later.
2. Make one sentence
저는 학생이에요.
“I’m a student.”
Try saying it with the example covered. If it isn’t true for you, change the role to one you know, or practise it as an example.
Then revisit the words that needed a second look. Keep today’s session manageable.
Your Week 1 materials
The complete Week 1 flashcard set covers people, work and places, and everyday actions. Start with today’s five words; you don’t need to finish the set now.
